Sebastián Ortiz – A Colombian Model Finding His Way in Amsterdam

Hola, I’m Sebastián Ortiz, but most people simply call me Sebas.

I was born and raised in Bogotá, Colombia, a city that moves to its own rhythm, full of colour, sound and emotion. Growing up there taught me to be independent early, to find my own voice in the middle of the noise and to see life as something to explore rather than control.

Bogotá will always be part of who I am. Its pulse lives in everything I do. But I have always felt that my story needed to go further, to cross oceans, learn new rhythms and discover what else I could become.

Finding My Way

Moving to Europe opened a whole new world. The people, the architecture, the pace, even the air felt different. Amsterdam became a place where I could learn about myself, meet new people and dream bigger.

For a while I explored makeup and beauty. I loved how colour and detail could transform how someone felt. But lately I have found myself drawn more and more to fashion and modelling. There is something powerful about expression without words, about telling a story with your eyes, your body and your presence.

Life in Motion

Right now I am focused on modelling and building my path in the fashion world. Every casting and every photoshoot teaches me something new. It is not only about how you look, but about how you feel when you step in front of the camera.

It takes courage to show up, to be seen, to trust that you are enough. I am learning that confidence is not pretending to be perfect, but standing in who you are, even when you are still becoming.

Looking Ahead

I want to travel, to work with creative people and to keep growing. Fashion for me is freedom, it is a space to express emotion and identity. I want to keep exploring that world and see where it takes me.

Every journey starts with curiosity, and that is what keeps me moving.
